Spoke Placements with an IBCLC

LWBS is offering spoke placements to healthcare/college students within the local area (Norfolk and Suffolk) who would like to pursue a career in Midwifery, Health visiting, IBCLC, Childrens nursing and so on. These will usually be one day and will involve shadowing an IBCLC as they visit breastfeeding cafes/visit families at home. Students will get the opportunity to observe the role of a lactation consultant, learn about factors that can affect breastfeeding and lactation for both mother and baby as well as how families can be supported to reach their feeding goals.
